Vst & Company "Volume 4" proved that up' till the end, the band had a lot of grooves left in the tank. "Pakita Mo" the disco-styled opening number in particular, proves this. Said track has an almost movie soundtrack vibe to it.and when the vaunted brass section kicked in--The Company as they were reffered to in the album credits, thein tits disco fever all over again as the all too familiar tones of vocalist Marvic Sotto sing the anthemic melodies.
And there's a lot of disco and swing-tinged melodies and beats in here of course. Fine example is the obcure Vst And Company, gem "The Disco Rock" Also at this phase in the life of Vst And Company. as a band, the group can be readily relied on to deliver the catchy numbers, And this set keept a steady flow of it here. For example. "Nahihibang" might not be a popular hit, but it can nonetheless stand alongside one. Ditto "Magnifica" a track that has that all too-familiar Vst stomp and swing. and so it goes with with "Super Lover" the ear candy pop track " You Just Don't Care" (whose into keyboardriff sounded so much like "Urong Sulong" that was written by Celso Llarina and Male Rigor and probably sung by the latter, Rounding it all neatly is the swing beat Vic Sotto-written "Baby Boy Blue" and the album closer "Pwede Ba" by another Rigor brother in Roger.
 
They didn't probably know it at the same time, but this would be the last Vst & Company album ever, for the members would go on to have careers of their own successful ones at that in the realms of TV, the movies and some even in the politics, But Vst & Co's music would stay on. and as these classic vinyl reisssues prove, the music remains as vibrant as they were first heard.
