The success of Vst & Company's debut album afforded them quite a bit of fame. They became the leading figures of manila sound and at the same time cornered the burgeoning disco market and audience. Eventually their popularity was not just confined to pop music but have crossed over into the movie as the evidenced by the 1978 movie "Disco Fever"and the 1979 films "Swing It Baby" and "Rock Baby Rock" wherein the music of Vst & Co. was use and in some even made appearance as themselves.
