● This best-of compilation from Teresa Teng’s Taurus era (originally released in 1986)—featuring the hit singles “Tsugunai” and “Aijin”, their B-sides “Waratte Kanpai” and “Ame ni Nurete”, the city pop–infused “Midasarete”, and seven beautifully re-recorded versions of signature Polydor-era classics such as “Yoru no Ferry Boat” and “Gelsomina no Aruita Michi”—is now revived as part of the ultra–high-end 100% Pure LP series. Also included as bonus tracks are two of her major songs released after the original album: “Toki no Nagare ni Mi wo Makase” and “Wakare no Yokan”, making this the ultimate selection.
● “100% Pure LP” is a special Made-in-Japan series launched in 2012, widely recognized around the world as a pioneer of modern high-fidelity vinyl. One of its defining features is the use of uncolored virgin vinyl, completely eliminating carbon and other pigments typically used in standard LPs—materials known to affect sound quality.
